High-heeled shoes are perfect for fashion and attractive to the eye, but may not always be as attractive to the userâs health. The higher the heel, the greater your risk of falling, spraining a muscle, and other types of injury, medical experts disclosed. However, they stressed, these are not the only risks of high heels. High heeled shoes can also pinch the feet or toes and perhaps cause permanent injury. Likewise, these types of shoes may cause back pain. Other people call high heels âtorture chambers.â Squeezing toes, which are semi oval, into unyielding leather triangles causes foot pain, knee pain and back pain.
